We now have a permanent location, custom shelving and storage, and are in the process of forming our nonprofit. We have been blessed by over 130 donors and 19 volunteers. We have delivered 82 grab bags for local DHHRs. We have had the honor and privilege to serve over ONE HUNDRED children, spanning 8 WV counties. We have provided warm winter coats, safe places to sleep, clean clothing that fit, diapers and formula in the face of a pandemic when supplies were short, boots for feet who only had sandals in the snow, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and book bags filled with school supplies. We have worked along side foster care agencies, local DHHRs and neighboring foster closets to provide children with essential items.
Faithful Fostering provides local foster children, foster and kinship families with clothing, shoes, and other items free of charge through community donations.

One year ago the Closet was just beginning to take shape. We were collecting and working our Closet out of our homes and garages. We had no idea how far we would come and how many lives would be changed by our closet. This is a ministry that has profoundly affected all of our gracious volunteers; and for that, we are very thankful!
It is our prayer that one day our Closet will no longer be needed because all children will be safe, loved, and cared for in their own homes. But as long as there is a need for our Foster Closet, we will continue to press on and serve those children who didn't choose the situation they find themselves in. We hope to provide comfort, security, and normalcy with the items they receive. Thank you for helping us! Every donation, encouraging word and prayer continues to help us get to this point!
